But the brand isn't meant to be about golf. It's about him: the laughs, the music, the family, the good days, and the memories that no diagnosis can take away.
Our Story
Built around the man, not the diagnosis.
George's story began with California sunshine, a lifetime of hard work, and a family built with care. Retirement brought a new chapter in Texas: time with loved ones, barbecue in the evening, music in the background, and a five iron never too far away.
Then came three letters: ALS. The journey changed in ways no one could have expected. But through it all, his spirit, his love for family, and his ability to find a reason to smile remain.
Five Iron Co. is a tribute to that spirit. It's about making the most of the days in front of us, standing beside the people we love, and remembering that a diagnosis does not define a person.

What is ALS?
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), sometimes called Lou Gehrig's disease, affects nerve cells that control voluntary muscle movement. Over time, it can make walking, speaking, swallowing and breathing more difficult. How it affects someone and how quickly it progresses varies from person to person.
There is currently no cure, but treatment and coordinated medical care can help with symptoms and may slow progression. For families, learning about ALS can make it easier to find support and understand what their loved one is facing.
